I bring a unique level of experience, skills and intuition to each massage. More than 20 years in the business means I can offer soothing therapeutic help for many different issues. That being said, there are a few areas in which I have a special level of skill. Read on to find out more. Better yet, just schedule your massage, and we'll come up with a custom plan to help you feel your best.

Lymph Drainage Therapy (LDT)

One of my favorite approaches because it helps conditions massage can't touch. LDT boosts your body's ability to process inflammation and swelling (edema).  While massage works with muscle fibers and connective tissue, LDT works with the spaces between the cells. It literally helps keep the cellular environment clean!

LDT is very gentle and very powerful. It can be a stand alone treatment, or can be incorporated into any massage.

LDT helps people recover or manage from:

  • Plastic/reconstructive surgery
  • Orthopedic surgery, including sports injury
  • Bruises and swelling from injury
  • Puffy/swollen eyes or faces
  • Cankles and other chronic or episodic swelling
  • Chronic pain
  • Whiplash
  • Autoimmune disease
  • Fatigue
  • Detox
  • Cellulite

Headache Relief

This work is my other great love. Millions of people suffer from intense, recurring headaches and face or neck pain. Often they have suffered for years, and are simply resigned to living with pain for the rest of their lives. But they don't have to!

I have a great track record of helping reduce or eliminate the pain, often within 6 sessions. And people usually feel relief even after the first!

Headache relief works best for:

  • Tension headaches
  • Headaches that started after injury or whiplash

A word on migraine headaches: Migraines are not muscular events: they are now considered neurological disorders.  Therefore massage for migraines is not always effective.

In my experience, I have been able to help migraine sufferers whose headaches are triggered by muscle tension or stress. In addition, many people will have a secondary tension headache in conjunction with their migraine. These people feel better when the tension headache is treated, even if the migraine continues.

So very important, and so under valued. Relaxation contributes to better health, improved quality of life, and relief from pain, anxiety and other maladies of the modern life. I incorporate relaxing details into every session, so that you feel truly rejuvenated and refreshed.
